District Announcements
As we enter our first week of school, we ask parents to please take a moment to review this important message from Superintendent Dr. Leslie Ricciardelli. Have a wonderful start to the school year!
Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to announce the District has earned an “A” rating for the 2025-2026 school year from the Florida Department of Education.
CCPS is the proven choice for education in Collier County. To ensure new students are ready to start on day one, we encourage families to complete the online enrollment process by July 15.
Quarter 4 report cards are now available on the FOCUS Portal.

Our success is attributed to the dedication and commitment of the Avalon staff, the hard work of your children, as well as the strong collaboration between the school, home and our generous community partners. Your support is greatly appreciated! We are committed to providing all students an engaging, differentiated, and rigorous education as we continue our pursuit of academic excellence. I encourage you to be actively involved in your child’s education and I look forward to meeting you at our many school activities.
